Do students need any prior knowledge?

No. The Beginner level assumes zero financial knowledge. Whether your child has never thought about money or already manages a weekly allowance, they'll learn something valuable from week one.

Classes are hands-on and in-person in Stockholm. Every Saturday session is built around real activities: budgeting games, savings simulations, role-play, and group challenges, always learning by doing, always discussion-led.

What will my child learn during the Beginner term?

The Beginner term goes far beyond "saving pocket money". Topics include: how money & jobs really work, mindset (abundance vs scarcity, owner vs consumer), time as currency (creators vs consumers), the Save/Spend/Give system, goal-setting, and their personal Wealth Plan covering money, mindset, skills, health and time.

What happens after the Beginner term?

Accepted Answer

Students who complete Beginner can progress to: Intermediate (Spring 2027) - skills + income, education's role, health and earning, banking & interest, smart spending, first mini-business. Advanced (Autumn 2027) - compound interest, investing, multiple income streams, the entrepreneur path, your 10-year wealth plan.

What kind of case studies will the course use?

Accepted Answer

A mix of Swedish founders (Ingvar Kamprad of IKEA, Daniel Ek of Spotify), classic financial stories (Warren Buffett buying his first stock at 11), and everyday-person scenarios kids relate to: two friends with the same allowance, an athlete and an injury, a creator vs a scroller. Every concept lands through a real story your child will remember years later.

Will the course teach "rich mindset vs poor mindset"?

We teach the underlying idea, but using the more careful framing of abundance vs scarcity mindset. The goal is to show how thinking shapes outcomes, without judging anyone for their financial situation. Many wealthy people grew up with very little; many people without much money are deeply rich in other ways. We focus on giving every child the tools to choose wisely, not on labelling lives.

Won't this make my child judgmental about people who aren't wealthy?

Accepted Answer

Quite the opposite. The course is built on respect: wealth comes from a mix of choices, mindsets, opportunities and luck, not from inherent worth. We use language like "creators vs consumers" and "abundance vs scarcity thinking" that points at behaviours and choices, never at people. Kids leave more compassionate, not less.

What does "time = currency" mean for a child?

Accepted Answer

It means we teach kids that their time is their most valuable asset, even more than money, because they have so much of it ahead. Through a real one-week Time Audit, they see for themselves how much of their time goes to builders (skills, learning, exercise, real friendships) vs takers (passive scrolling, binge-watching). We don't moralise. We just show, and let them decide.

Will my child handle real money in class?

No. We use play money, simulations, and (with parents' permission) reference each child's own veckopeng/allowance for personal goal-setting. The skills are real, the practice is safe.

We maintain an 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio. This ensures every child gets personal attention, and we can group activities by age within the class.
